Skills: Extremely good at cooking - like, extremely good. Also a punk through and through, so you prolly don't want to mess with him.
Ruebourdain history:

At first glance, it's hard to believe that this foul-mouthed, smoking and grumpy young man is a cook at all, and a talented one at that. Shinji is a recently reformed gangster out to pick up the pieces of his life and start with a fresh slate. That, of course, means getting a respectable job, and apparently, working at a high-class restaurant counts as one.

Information permissions:

Public: Mr. Grumpypants in the restaurant (or one of them, anyway). Still, he does his job well, and actually stands up for people who matter to him.
Not public knowledge: He's actually working at a restaurant because of Hibari and Hibari's mother. The family took him in from the streets - but not before kicking the shit out of him when he tried to hit them first. Now he wants to pay them back somehow, but NOT by working at their restaurant (since that's going to be uncomfortable). The place he's in now looks suitable, though, even if the owner's a weirdo.
